Warranty

1. What’s Covered

Structural Components
– Solid timber frames, metal supports, internal bracing—any breakage or deformation.

Mechanical Parts
– Adjustable legs or hidden storage mechanisms that fail to function as intended.

Ink Furniture will determine, at its sole discretion, whether repair or replacement is appropriate.


2. Warranty Period

Duration: Three (3) years from the date you receive your furniture in New Zealand.

After expiration, you may still request repairs at a fair labour-and-parts charge.


3. What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from:

User Misuse or Accident: Dropping, collisions, improper handling, unauthorized disassembly or modification.

Normal Wear & Tear: Fabric pilling, minor surface scratches, natural spring relaxation.

Stains or Spills: Liquids, oil, mold, pet damage, or other contaminations.

Environmental Factors: Sun-bleaching, extreme humidity or dryness, thermal shock.

Commercial or Rental Use: Any non-residential setting (offices, holiday lettings, Airbnb, etc.).


4. How to Claim

Submit Your Request

email support@inkfurniture.nz with your order number, photos of the issue, and a brief description.

Assessment & Approval 

We’ll review your claim within 5 business days and confirm eligibility.

Repair or Replacement

For approved claims, we’ll arrange collection, repair, or replacement at no cost, and return shipment to your New Zealand address.


5. Legal Notice

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.

It is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
